Hi! My name is Anushka and I am a first year Experimental Psychology student.
As BAME rep, my role is to represent the needs and interests of BAME JCR members, and organise events to support the BAME community.
As an international student from Hong Kong, I have been exposed to many ethnicities growing up. This has shown me how people from vastly different backgrounds can come together to form a strong community. I'm so grateful that such a community exists here at Hugh's in the form of the BAME community.
I hope to continue contributing to this incredible community, making Hugh's feel like a safe and inclusive environment for everyone.
