Hi I’m Maryam a second-year Human scientist here. I am one of your BAME reps and my role involves creating a welcoming community at Hugh’s by planning events that place culture that is less frequently represented at the forefront. I also work on some of the policy side of things with college to make sure BAME students are as supported as they can be at St Hugh’s.
More personally I love to read, crochet and go to the gym when I am not working. Some of my favourite things to do around Oxford specifically is explore the libraries, go to bingsoo and the occasional boogie; do approach me for recommendations I love to share my opinion on most things.
