Hey I'm Kate and I am really looking forward to being your Secretary this year! Last year I was part of the Welfare committee of the JCR and I absolutely loved it so I am glad I get to be part of the JCR committee just a little while longer. Apart from assisting the President with her plans to make Hugh's even better you'll find me at every meeting noting down everything that everyone is saying. I grew up in Preston (which is in the Northwest of England) so unfortunately my home friends are not too happy about the southern accent I have acquired whilst being in Oxford. Apart from being your secretary, I am a massive Preston North End supporter, I run a dance crew in Oxford called Equinox and do volunteer work every summer for a charity called the North West Children's Support Group. I also love taking photos and so I always have my Kodak camera with me wherever I go. I have made so many memories at St Hugh's and can't wait for the year ahead. Fun fact about me: My mum named me after Kate Bush!
